I have organized a brand new festival at CCM. All events are free and we hope to co-ordinate through the CCM Graduate Student Association to accept donations for the rebuilding of Haiti. This is the first of what we hope will be an annual event. Look for full information at Bearcat Piano Festival.

will present the Bach Goldberg Variations as we celebrate the 325th year of the birth of Bach.
He will present a masterclass on the Chopin Etudes, including the famous op.10# 3 and the octave,harp, and thirds etudes.
Nelita True, one of the most esteemed pedagogues in the world, mentor to many wonderful pianists and teachers, and juror for innumerable International Piano Competitions, including the Hilton Head International Competition Jury just this month, and Chairing the Gina Bachauer International Piano Foundation this summer, will present one masterclass March 31 4-6.
I have had a Czerny etude competition for my students the past several years. This year we will have a Chopin Etude Competition with Mr. Weirich as the judge.
Also, all of my students, along with some others will present two marathons piano music from Schumann's golden years, Abegg Variations, Papillons, Davidsbundlertanze, Kreisleriana, Carnaval, Fantasie, Arabesque, Three Romances, Fantasie Aus Wien, Blumenstuck, Kinderszenen, Fantasiestucke,and the Symphonic Etudes.
